There are many health benefits of kale. If you are getting in shape or you're wanting to change your diet to start eating a lot more healthy then you can not go wrong by eating more Kale!

However, many people tend to stay away from this food because they just don't know how to cook it or what kind of dishes to put it in. Well I will make this very simple. Just mix it into your salads or do what I do and put it into your green smoothies and just drink it down and let me tell you that it taste great
both ways!

  • Calories, Fiber, Fat - Kale is high in fiber, zero fat grams, and only has 36 calories per cup. Since kale is high in fiber it will help with digestion and constipation.
  • Kale is high in Vitamin K - Including more vitamin K into your diet can help protect against various cancers. Vitamin K is necessary for a variety of bodily functions including normal bone health and the prevention of blood clotting. Also increased levels of vitamin K can help people suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
  • Kale is high in iron.- Iron is essential for good health, such as the formation of hemoglobin and enzymes, transporting oxygen to various parts of the body, cell growth, proper liver function and more.
  • Kale is a great anti-inflammatory food - One cup of kale is filled with 10% of the RDA of omega-3 fatty acids, which help, fight against arthritis, asthma and autoimmune disorders.
  • Kale is filled with powerful antioxidants - Antioxidants, such as carotenoids and flavonoids help protect against various cancers. This is another great health benefits of kale, so eat up and take advantage of these antioxidants.

I get it, you grew up not wanting to eat your veggies. Most kids seem to be that way! However, if you are now a grown up and still acting like a kid when it comes to eating healthy then all I can say is grow up!!!

I am serious people grow up! You can easily retrain your pallet to like these veggies just by eating them often. Plus if you put them in a smoothie you can not even taste them. So please start eating healthy and get the health benefits of Kale!
