Green Smoothie Recipe
This is my favorite green smoothie recipe. I love the taste of bananas and oranges together. If you are new to drinking green smoothies then I recommend that this be your first one. It is very simple to make and you can use a standard blender like I use or a blender that is made for smoothies. I will tell you that if you use a regular blender just blend it a little longer and it will be smooth enough to drink through a straw.There are many green smoothie Recipes out there and I will not make the claim that mine are better than anyone elses. All I will say about them is that they are healthy and full of yummy goodness. Drinking a smoothie a day will help you get vitamins and minerals that you might be missing in a natural way.
Some people will say that this is a beginner style green smoothie and thats because its more naturally sweet because of the fruit and it doesn't taste like grass. This might be true however, I tend to think that you can't go wrong with any style smoothie.
Green Smoothie Ingredients
- Kale - Only use about 1 cup of Kale and equal amount in spinach so its not over powering.
- Spinach - Only use about 20 pieces of baby spinach or a cup of spinach, If you add to much it will taste kinda grassy.
- Apple
- Orange
- Banana
- Celery
- Lemon
- Lemon Water, or Lime Water, and you can use Regular Water
If you are serious about weight loss then drinking a green smoothie a day will not only help you lose weight but it will help replace all the vitamins and nutrients that you lose during your hard workouts. After all getting in shape is a life style change not something that is temporary.
